# Reset your password

If you cannot log in, resetting your password helps you regain access without creating a new account.

## Reset your password

Because TanzLII uses an email-based code to log you in, a password is not strictly required. However, if you prefer to set a password:

1. Click **Log in**.
2. Enter your email address and click **Continue**.
3. Click **Use a password instead.**
4. Click **Forgot your password**.
5. Check your email for a password reset link.
6. Click the link and follow the prompts to reset your password.

## If the email does not arrive

Check your spam or junk folder, then try again. If you still do not receive the email, contact your site administrator or support team.
